The dream started off with me working at St. Anne's Gift Shop again.
Mary, my boss, had just had a baby, and she was showing her to me, and I was talking with Jody by the door, when I looked up at a shelf behind the counter and saw a box that looked like it came from Germany. The cardboard of the box was covered with Christmas scenes. I asked Jody about it, and she told me that it had been waiting for me. Mary handed it to me, and I opened it, and there were all these Christmas items from Germany in it, along with a note from Jay. It was written partially in German and partially in French, and I could read the part in German. It said that he wanted to write the whole note in German, but it was just too hard because he wasn't good at the language, so the rest was in French. I am new to French, so in the dream it took me a while to dicipher it, but it basically said that he wanted to see me again and that I should call him. When I got home, I did call him. I don't remember what was said.

Comment: This dream is really odd, because I really haven't been thinking about Jay lately- we have settled our differences, and he has a new life going on- so do I.
It is just odd to me that I had to dicipher his words- does this mean that there are hidden messages, things to read between the lines, when we speak? Is he speaking another language, one that I have to work at to understand?
